This is regarding the use of Metformin in people with normal blood sugar. for example when used in the treatment of PCOD.

Do you mean pcos? It was my understanding that people with pcos have above normal glucose levels, even if not by much, and/or increased insulin levels. Theyare at increased risk for diabetes. They have insulin resistance. I think metformin is commonly used to help decrease insulin resistance in the cells. Improving cell sensitivity is a very good thing.
