I am going to be going from Byetta to Victoza this Friday. Any suggestions or things to look out for. Has anyone found that the Victoza is working a lot better on their BG numbers and appitite? Also, anyone taking this and not on other meds for your sugar? I don't take anything but Byetta. BG not the greatest, hoping Victoza does a little better. I can't take meformin because it messes with my kidneys. Not sure whatelse I could take since all of it but Byetta and Victoza claim wieght gain as a side affect. ThanksReply

Don't be afraid to start Victoza. I'm not sure what side effects you suffered from with Byetta but the nausea and heartburn in the beginning was horrid and with Victoza I only had some lightheadedness. A whole lot easier to deal with. My numbers are much better, I mean, much better than on Byetta so I hope you experience the same thing. You should be fine.
